Rasperries, moving again?
« on: February 19, 2011, 19:52 »
I moved about 9 raspberry bushes at the beginning of the month to new positions using 3 cane wigwam system, that night I was reading the Fruit expert, couldnt find it and thought i didnt have it.  Saw a great design to have then in a row between posts with wire on either side to keep them tidy (was using the free method before).

Question is, is it getting too late to move them?  Have been away the last 2 weeks but the temperature at home looks like it was about 5 Degrees. thinking to do it this weekend if it gets the thumbs up.  A nice trench of manure and plenty TLC to help them settle if, if I havent missed the boat for this year, what do you think?

I don't think anything much will have happened to them in the last few weeks so go ahead.  :)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

Given your location I can't see a problem with moving them.
Unless otherwise stated it can be assumed ALL posts are by Pa Snip
