I was once advised that ordinary custard powder would do the trick.  I remember trying it ..and it worked.  Has anyone else tried strange methods ?

The main ingrediant of custard powder is starch which i cant see assisting in plant growth. However [is it april 1st] if you have had success, who can argue with that.

Well why not give it a try on one or two cuttings. as I said it worked for me !    But then for hundreds of years cuttings were taken without any aids were they not ?   But it wasn`t a wind up, and it`s not April either. Doc.

I always use curry powder. The stink through the leaves when the cuttings grow keeps greenfly away. Its not a joke - or is it ?
