Does anyone know of a good organic way to get rid of ants that are infesting some of the plants in my kitchen garden?

I keep disturbing the nest and flooding them, they eventually move on for an easier life.

Yeast is supposed to work as does borax, but Im not sure if thats classed as organic? I've also found chickens make short work of both nests and eggs

I tend to just leave them to do what ever anty type things they want to do. Although they crawl all over my stuff and play in my compost bin, they appear to do nothing good or bad to my plants so I leave them be.
