Anya potatoes
« on: January 19, 2009, 13:39 »
Does anyone know where I can get Anya seed potatoes, I bought them from Wilkies last year,  but, they're not selling them this year. Failing this can anyone recommend another potato as tasty as Anya.
Thanks

I've never grown Anya myself but they are a first early.  My favourite first early which I grow every year is Arran Pilot it's lovely and keeps well.

This is an excellent list for choosing varieties !

If you dig them young they are waxy but they can be left in the ground a little longer and they become more floury, but still retain their delicious taste  :D
