We have Easter out at work and have done since New Years Day. We had to go into work to de-winter festival the place and do what the powers that be call change-over, while the place was shut.
It is stupid and annoying to have to trail in and do that on a bank holiday
If it irritates you as shoppers, the shop staff are equally unimpressed I can tell you

As quite a few countries celebrate Epiphany, I think that'll be the next celebratory extravaganza to milk!
Usually, by the 6th January, most people are fed up with the whole issue and want to get on with the New Year...

Did anyone else see Santa Eggs?
Honesty, I spotted earlier Eldest eating a tiny chocolate egg with Santa foil over it. It was part of her Santa stash.

By the time we've finished buying all the appropriate cards, choccies and flowers for all these hyped-up occasions we'll have had to raid the children's money boxes, done a deep examination for any coins that have slipped down the chair cushions or those left in OH's trouser pockets which I find just before I put them into the washing machine. It's just another way to get customers to spend money which many can't afford. Just buy a big packet of Lindor chocolates, scoff the lot then let this crazy world go by.
