How can the manufacturers of Vitax Winter Tree Wash not print a list of ingredients on the bottle?

Probably because it is something cheap like vinegar and washing up liquid and if you knew that you would not buy their expensive special tree wash !

Hello I have just found out that Vitax winter washes active ingredient is calk3d a Dormant oil it's a very refined high viscosity petroleum by product that smothers the green fly and other insects if you go into the depths of Vitaxes web site it's mentioned there jezza

There are numerous recipes for homemade dormant oil sprays on the 'net. Although not allowed to be used as a pesticide they could be applied as a votive offering to the 'spirit of the tree'...��.

I like your thinking Mr Dog, thanks to all responders.

It's like the excuse/reason for speed camera detectors. Detectors are placed at (possible) accident black spots, so it's only expected to inform the driving public where these sites are and possibly avoid accidents!

Hello the next time I see a Vitax Rep I'll remind him of their obligation to the EPA (Environmental Protection Act) and there emergency contact details which by law has to have a contact number on the container in case of medical needs jezza
