Idiot needs advice!

I cant tell you what your girl is, but you have got a beautiful cockerel  i am jealous.

Thankyou for that it's nice to be able to talk about them using correct names then i don't feel such a novice. The little lavender hen is the mother of most of our others but she always seems apart from the rest and is bullied a bit. She seems fit and healthy but is there anything specific i should check for?
