.... and ask friends and family to save you their empties. My family of four empties at least one or two a week so if you ask enough people you will soon have more than enough.

As for sterilizing - boil the lids for ten minutes, the jars cook in the oven at 150 degrees for 20 minutes.

Or you could try Freecycle (google for your local one) sometimes you can post 'wanted' ads

.. now have just spotted the bit about selling it .... I think you have to have a hygiene certificate, possibly even have your kitchen inspected .. but it probably depends who you're going to sell it to.

Only friends, not doing a shop/table outside.

I have an advert on my local Dont Dump That Forum. Have asked all my friends and family as well! Didn't think of asking hotels.

And I know how to sterilise thank you.
