Sorry to sound so stupid but wot do you guys do in terms of washing the eggs if they have a little bit of poo on them, do u use warm or cold water or just a damp cloth    nickyx

hi hun, i just wipe them with a damp cloth....not that i do that often :D

I remember a post on this forum saying that hot water is better for washing eggs as less bacteria find their way in. Cold water just spreads them around.

Use a proper egg wash for hatching eggs.
