my leeks came today, well all 45 of them    dont worry am sharing some with lottie neighbour, but what i would like to know is how do you guys plant yours?  how deep? do you cut there tops a bit? if so how much of  and what do you put in there hole  ie like sprouts and cabbage we do the mix  do you for leeks, would like some good leeks this year..thanks

Leeks are heavy feeders so add lots of rotted manure, blood fish and bonemeal to the planting area. And they love regular watering if it's dry.
