How do I do it.

I know I need to cut them in half and I guess I need to remove the seeds but do you take the skin off?

How long should I put them in the oven for and is at the lowest temp, got some finest tesco on the vine tomatoes to do a trial run with and if it turns out well I want to dry my own.
Try my best to be Organic but don't always make it

Just checked the oven, tomatoes are looking good and taste great
Need a few more hours.

Is there a difference bewteen sundried tomatoes and sunblush tomatoes(these being sold on the tesco deli counter)?

Sunblush toms aren't dried out so much....

I did loads last year with a crate I got cheap off the greengrocer - just cut in half, sprinkled with a little sea salt and pepper and put in the oven at about 100ish (don't want them to colour) for a few hours - then put in a jar with olive oil to cover.  Couldn't say how long they'll keep as we ate them too fast!

Hopefully you're keeping those tomatoes in oil in the fridge, otherwise the combination quickly builds up a somewhat toxic bacteria count.

They didn't even make it to the table as we all ate them as they dried, but I will make sure they are always stored in oil.

I'm really pleased that I had a go as i couldn't believe how easy it was.
