ive heard lots of people say hens dont like to lay at this time of year for different reasons but is it normal to be getting 2 or 3 a day on saturday just gone i had 4 eggs from 6 hens then on sunday i only had 1 mine also laid rirght through last winter to they stoped about october time then it was 4 days before last Christmas and they started again i have 3 brown ex batt type hens a light sussex a buff orpington and what i think is a black rock although i  think my light sussex has stopped laying all together now she looks to be getting on lol

Laying can be really erratic this time of the year.  I don't think anyone can say how many eggs you should get.  We all just have to be grateful for any!   :blink:

Recently I've been getting the grand total of one egg a day from 11 hens!
