what can feed my birds on for a few days as i carnt get any today it might be tuesday before i can get anything plus i havent got scrap left

pets at home do layers pellets, but not a good idea just to change feed .

most pet shops will sell wheat or mixed corn

Could you cook them some pasta?  Not an ideal balanced diet but better than nothing and everyone has a packet of pasta at the back of the cupboard - don't they?  

Or as Martyn says, Pets At Home sell pellets now, and just the small bags (I think) so not a big outlay.

mine love dry porrage oats, or pasta/rice cooked you can use bread but soak and drain it first.  you can add dog/cat food for the protine good for the moult.
wild bird food, any green vedge.  Or bake a cake oh yes mine love a bit of cake.

Porridge oats tinned tuna, tinned sweetcorn wild bird seed if you have any - emergency only mind.  Get some layers pellets asap !

how come you can't get any feed til tuesday? 

could you ask your neighbours if they can sell / lend you some till you can pay them back?
