Planting out climbing french beans

OK, I've built my munty frame over a prepared trench, strung it up this morning.

Just thinking about planting out my climbing french beans and wondering which direction do they climb around the string.?  They follow the sun presumably?

Frame is facing south /south west.

They will climb anti-clockwise.

I use the right hand rule.  Point by right thumb upwards, and curl my fingers round (like making a fist - without the thumb!) and then train the plants that way round the cane.

I don't know if remembering to use your right hand is any easier than remembering that they climb anti-clockwise?  :unsure:
