What to plant now?
« on: July 16, 2007, 22:13 »
Due to a variety of reasons - some expected like harvesting, some less expected like blight  :? we have freed up some space in our little plot.  What can I plant now?
Any help gratefully received.

So, is it a definite for the peas then? Mine are a total wash out so I wouldn't mind sowing some more?

Peas

Ooh, I've got a space that would look nice with some more peas in it.

Can we use the leftovers from our original sowing, or will we need to buy a different variety?

I've just bought a few packs of things that can be grown now as the slugs have had pretty much everything.   they are  Boltardy beetroot, Autumn king 2 carrot, Early nantes 5 Carrot and radish (but have managed to tear off the variety) and lettuce mixed (38p in b&q)  you might get away with spring onions aswell.
Good luck
