Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Who fancies going into business?

10 peas for £7.95.  Might as well do broad beans as well.  I've got about £40 worth on my windowsill already

That's nothing.

I've got a potential of £1,200 worth of peas sitting in the panty.

Edit: decimal point in wrong place, but it's still a lot!

I hope you've got adequate security.  Will G4Security be transporting them to the plot for you?

You must really like peas or have a REALLY HIGH attrition rate

Costing is thus:

I have about 3 kilo of seed = about 1,500 seed.

That's 150 lots of £7.95 = nearly £1,200.

Did you see the price of the mixed coloured caulis?

I've made a personal decision as a point of principle not to buy anything from companies who charge those kind of prices. It upsets me so much.... I keep picturing someone's Grandmother with a pittance of a pension who doesn't know any better forking over the odds to a 'trusted' company. I find it difficult to see it as anything other than these companies scamming their less informed customers.
I saw one catalogue recently that was offering 10 sweetcorn plants for £8, and there was no delay on shipping either, so the unfortunate who buys them on trust is going to end up with 10 corn plants dying in March, and probably buy 10 more... grrrrr
