Hi,
i have 3 Habanaro chili plants that are beginning to show flowers but they also have lots of side shoots do i trim them like a tomato plant?

I certainly don't; nor can I think of any good reason for doing so.


However,  ;) there's bound to be someone along soon who swears by it.  :D
The successes and failures of each year keep me motivated for the following year.

Have you pinched the tops out? This tends to make them bush out and so more chillies.  Leave them there  :D

no I haven't pinched anything out they are about 12" tall and the flowers are appearing at the top.

I am glad my one sad little hab is not so far behind. You say yours has flowers but no fruit - this is the same is mine but all my other types now have fruit on them. I really wanted to try to get some habs this year!

it has the starting of flowers but that's all, I've heard they are slow growers though.
