Hi

I have been given some shallots to grow. Is it to late to plant them?

It's late, but not impossibly so given the weather so far this year - if you've got the space plant them (it may not be the best ever crop but you'll get a lot more than if you chuck them away - they may catch up with what you might expect in a "normal" year if the weather turns out really well, but I for one am not making any predictions on that score!)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

One of the best things about being an orang-utan is the fact that you don't lose your good looks as you get older
