The patient had a good night and this morning stood very well and normally on the dining table and ate and drank for half an hour. She did 2 normal poos on carefully placed newpaper whilst having her breakfast. She had a trial walk around in the vegetable garden but was calling to her friends so she was popped over the fence and seems fine. Phew.

It seems that it was an injury last night rather than an illness. We did wonder later if Fred the cockerel could be to blame - maybe he jumped on her a bit roughly!

Hopefully there will not be a relapse.

Sounds exactly like what mine had. Aunty's diagnosis in your other thread was what I finally thought it was - what i read somewhere was called 'layer's cramp' but no-one seems to know anything much about it -even my friend who's a vet :roll:
