Columbian blacktail for the red one with black tail

the other is a poland cross hubby says possable a black rock cross

i say a sussex poland cross but not a pure breed =(

I agree, definately Faverolle looking, and a Poland, if not a cross.  Not sure about the other two though

The boy looks a bit like a welsummer boy to me, and again the little girl has salmon faverolle colouring!

ok i think the white one is a faverolle having checked photos but at ten weeks she has no leg feathers?

I dont know how to sex them though hs any one got any ideas when they will start crowing etc.

I don't think it's a black Orpington. I have just raised one from a chick and they are much rounder than that and at 11 weeks old now it dwarfs all of my other full grown hens apart from my giant breeds.

I think Salmon Faverolle boys are a different colour Rachel, but I'm not really up on pure breeds very much.

But I'm not convinced they are all pure breeds.  I could be wrong again though!

well he sold them to me as all pure breeds and all big birds i.e. buffs etc as I was concerned about bantams being bullied.

So as I lost all but 5  of the 12 under suspicious circumstances. I have now brought on 30 other chicks and only lost two to straddle leg, it was definitely suspicious.

I bet if i ask him he would not know. Oh well I suppose i will find out soon enough when they start crowing.

ps helena do they do black orpington bantams? He/she is a lovely colour u get what i mean. Blue and black and brown and green feathers and it is very stocky and round if you know what i mean lol
