Blood on Eggs

Hi All, just a quick question. Now and again i find one of my eggs has blood on the egg shell. What causes this? I have Three Ex-Battery Hens and most days the eggs are fine, but now and then i find the one with Blood on it. Hopefully its nothing to worry about?. The Hens seem fine and eat and drink well. I often add some Poultry Drink to their water too. So not sure what causes this. Any ideas? (Its not everyday though!).

Piles??

Don't know if chickens can get piles, but it could be through straining couldn't it?

I don't think it's anything to worry about, unless it happens all of the time, I get this now and again with my chickens.

Thanks for that. Been ok last couple of days. I'm not sure about Piles though....as I know not enough on Hens. But so far so good again .
