Not sure the exact amount but I dilute about a tablespoon to a gallon watering can and water it in.

If you have symptoms of magnesium deficiency water it on to the leaves as it will not be absorbed from the soil enough to cure deficient leaves.

Most chemists stock it - you may even find it in the 'tummy remedies' section in your supermarket.
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

Boots online price for Epsom salts is £1.49 for 200g. - how much of what is basically a trace element do you actually need?

It's not something I'd feel the need to buy in bulk to save a few pence.

If you have potatoes or tomatoes to do as well, you may need more than 100g - then ebay really is cheaper ;)

Ah ha - I've just learned about the Epsom thing - and have done all my chillis, peppers and toms. Now I read that I can do spuds as well?     :lol:  Whoo hoo!

23p for 200g if you buy 10KG on ebay, more than a few pence saving

Don't buy it from the chemist it's too expensive. Even the GC is dear!
I got 1kg on ebay for £4.79 delivered within a few days. They also had 500g for £3.29 inc. P&P.
