Are doing really well but now they have grown the leaves are resting on the pot edge and the little bugs are using it as a bridge to heaven, rather than crawling the path littered with pellets

what can I do, i thought about rings of plastic to lift the leaves but didnt know if the wise ones on here had a better idea, I was going to use old coke bottles  :?

Anything I have in pots or grow bags gets a big smearing with petrolium jelly all round the container.  It is working as none of my herbs (which were in a grow bag) were eaten this year.  I lost the lot to slugs last year.
ALLOTMENTNUT. GROWING EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING.  JUST GIVE IT ALL A TRY!!!!
