Hi everyone. Have just planted some onions, spring onions, carrots and spuds today. This is my first time growing my own food so here goes my first newbie question. I planted tiny onion bulbs (sets?) and am wondering how many onions I will get per bulb. I'm pretty sure it's only one but am hoping for more as I only planted 9! Basically I'm using my girlfriend's mum's tiny backyard.

Hi Floyd - it is just one per set. If you want more than one, you need to plant shallots!

But shallots are smaller.........so you gain nothing
