I was in tears before the credits had gone through at the start  :(

I can't believe how they toss the poor little things round.

I think tomorrow its going to be even worse but I am going to watch, off to the shops for a mega supply of tissues tomorrow and no its not going to be Tesco

Peter said he'll tape it for me tonight; I know that kind of thing is so upsetting to see but I will watch it anyway, I think we should know what happens in the world - whether you eat chicken etc or not.

I'm terrible for watching/reading things that I know will upset me; like, I read an awful lot of depressing books and my favourite films are pretty much all ones where there isn't a happy ending.

That's a good thing Rosemary, it shows you care.

I couldn't believe they way they were chcuking those chicks out of the boxes at one day old.  When we got ours, I made Brian hold the box while I picked them out 2 at a time and put them on the floor!  I could never throw them out like that, their little legs are sooo skinny at that age, no wonder most of them can't walk!!!!!

Lucky I only had 300 then and not 250,000!!!!!  They would have been grown up by the time I'd emptied all the boxes!!!!!

I have never been a big fan of HFW but he is really taking a huge personal risk here.  Good luck to him and I hope it works.  Could never buy a chicken that has no more space to run around than the plastic tray it comes packaged in at the supermarket.

Sorry to come across as a spoil joy, but HFW does not have any other thing to do with this, probably, than making money. Of a film that's gonna attract some audience.

LOTS of people use their 'celebrity' or whatever for raising awareness of things that they do feel passionately about; it isn't always about making money.
