sweetcorn advice please

Been given some sweetcorn seedlings yesetrday which are about 3" high i think there are 6 in a 5" pot. With little room in the garden at home and no lottie will these grow ok in tubs? Ive got 2 tubs abdout 24" and am wondering if 3 per tub will be ok.

i know nothing of sweetcorn and the guy who sold them to my sister (carboot) didnt know much either.

mmm 3 doesnt look good

off to try and clear some space....im sure we dont need all these shrubs and flowers that we cant eat. (dont tell OH)
