I can see yellowing leaves but none that look like blight.  Have there been any confirmed cases your way?  It seem a little early for it.  Have you checked the stem for blackleg ?  There is a lot of that this year.

Personally I'd have close look at the stem of the ill-looking one at ground level.  Just to make sure you've not got blackleg (the plant, that is  ::) ) or anything else attacking it.

I doubt that the plant will recover but might be worth giving it a chance for a few more days before pulling it out, assuming no immediate signs of blackleg etc.

Agree with AS that not blight.

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

I would.  Not sure what has caused it.  Look for blackleg and cutworms and anything else suspicious.

Two of mine had it this year and the stem near the soil turned to mush and the plant looked sickly like yours.

no black on stems and no mushy bits, hubby said just looks dead.

Going to go for stripping out this bed tomorrow and spraying the six other beds which look fine, fingers crossed

Don't know whether you need to take out all the rest of the plants if they look OK?

Lift the sickly plants and have a good rummage in the soil and look at the tubers for damage.  It really doesn't look like blight.

Hubby said the whole of this bed is not right, he said the plants are much lighter in colour than the rest, its only five plants in each bed

Are they a different variety?  If not, I guess then it might be something to do with conditions etc in that bed - and you / he are far better placed to judge than we are.
