Ok, but they were too hot when I took that one.  Spare jam was eaten on toast this morning.  I'll post the labels ASAP.

Thanks for that BQ.  I paid over £2 for 50 from the jar place.

Ahh but i bet you paid for the pretty pictures lol nice things cost Bob  ;) i like my jars to speak for themselves. Plus the veg and fruit never looks like the actual item which puts me off too.

The cheapest labels at that place were £2.30.  (But I had too many jams so I needed to lable)
I will look out for some at a better price.

You can put the plain labels through a printer and pretty them up that way, or get arty

I made some stylish pickled onion labels using blank labels but I imported a photo and then added my own text. They looked really good

Still, it's about the contents at the end of the day.  If you're going to be handed them out as gifts though, it does help if they're well presented.  I gave a jar of blackcurrant jam to my sister today and I have one for my brother and my nieces

They  look lovely, Bob. Did you try the idea of using some pinot noir in the cooking :D :D

I used to use sheets of labels and put them through the printer but treated my self to a brother label printer which makes my life much easier. ;)

Mrs Bee, Its just a straight jam,  I didn't have the wine.  I do need to resolve the lable issue. (If I tell you something don't repeat it will you??)
I bought a sheet of 20 labels for £2.30.
I sat down today and carefully cleaned my seven jars of new BlackCurrant Jam.
Then I got my nice pen and wrote out seven labels.
The problem is I wrote Red Currant Jam seven times.
I had to rewrite the labels again.
 :(

   We could be related

The times I have done ingredients labels and realised I had missed out an ingredient, or done 13 labels for chilli jam only to find that I had already done them!

I am really at the CRAFT time of life. Can't Remember A Flaming Thing.

Ive been told "We now have enough Jam"
But Ive got loads of frozen fruit, Blackcurrant and Goosberry bushes groaning under the weight, only one domestic freezer and 19 Bonne Maman Jars sitting empty.

I'd love to have that problem! Mum's blackcurrants are going to need to be supplemented from a PYO place if I'm going to get her a decent supply of jelly. And the goosegogs only ran to 4 jars. Still, blackberries look like they will do well this year, and the local quinces are doing well, so at least I'll have plenty of variety!
