Can anyone tell me what the difference is between 'poultry feed' and 'layers pellets'.
My other half went and bought poultry feed, when I usually get organic layers pellets.  We have almost run out of food now, so I need to know if I can just use the feed, or should I take it back unopened and get my usual pellets.

To be honest I've no idea, can you check the contents label to see what's in them? I have a suspicion that it may be like growers, but like a say only a guess. No doubt if you hang on, some of our more experienced keepers will know.

I would take it back and get your usual pellets.  Hens don't really like a change in feed and if the "poultry feed", and I've no idea what that is, doesn't suit them you'd have to change again
