I second the beetroot and feta salad recipe.  It really is delicious, and I didn't think I'd like beetroot either until I tried it.

The river cottage cookbook also does a lovely beetroot and walnut hummous recipe.

So enjoying this thread!

1. Never plant your parsnip seeds until at least March, wait until the soil is really warming up.
2. Label everything properly and write down what you've sown on your plan.
3. Enjoy it all, the veg. and whatever you choose to put in your flask!

I wish I could add patience as well!

1. Don't use electric propagators other than for seed that need heat. e.g. NO brassicas.

b. Don't use electric propagators other than for seed that need heat. e.g. NO brassicas.

III - Don't use electric propagators other than for seed that need heat. e.g. NO brassicas.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

So I guess my picked up tip for the year should be:

Don't use electric propagators other than for seed that need heat. e.g. NO brassicas

But there again I never do

You wouldn't want to.
