I did that and now they are all falling off the stem because lack of water

It's not only the lack of water Hubbali, they're getting to the end now as it is October after all!

Place some softening under the trusses, like an old sack, or a sheet, and they'll just drop off and be fine for when you want them!

We picked a few pounds off the greenhouse soil like that, and they were fine!
