Flowers falling off chillies
« on: July 18, 2013, 11:55 »
My jalapeņo and Hungarian hot wax chillies are flowering no problem. But then it all seems to go wrong. Either the flowers go brown and die leaving the immature fruit behind them then that falls off or, in most cases, the flower and stalk fall off altogether. What causes this?
I have my own cement mixer and not afraid to use it!!

I'm not good, I'm not bad - I'm just me, and sometimes I have to apologise for that ;)

a few of my chillies fell off when they were immature. now seem to be ok. i put mine down to lack of pollination as the marrows seem to do the same for the first fruits.
