One of my Gardeners Delight Tomato plants must have over a hundred flowers on several trusses.

I assume I should prune the number down as the plant wont be able to cope with this much fruit.

How many flowers should I leave?

Is it common with Gardeners Delight to have so many flowers on a truss?

I have one other plant that has a lot of flowers on too, but not quite as many.

They may not all set of course.

Imho you should let them be and wait to see what occurs  :D

Yes, let them be.  Gardener's Delight is usually very prolific, and mine have loads of flowers, as has my gartenpearle.

If you decided to remove some flowers, you can be sure they are the ones that would turn into tomatoes!!!

I grew Gardeners Delight last year,as it was my 1st year it was the only tomato I grew.

However I would say that I probably had between 40 -60  toms per plant.

All my gardener's delight plants have grown disappointingly small fruits the size of small cherry toms. Still eating them though. They say GD are the best to grow but I have never found that myself. Tigerella's are far superior.

GD have always been reliable for quality and quantity and i always grow some but i would say that if there are that many flowers per truss you may have a millefleur interloper in your GD packet.

I have grown GD for many years, most or them have always been about the size of a table tennis ball. Pretty big for cherries!

I have a lot growing outside which are very good size but not ripe. A few more days and they will be. Would you risk leaving them outside now the colder nights are coming or cut off the vines with the fruit still on and hang in the greenhouse (someone told me you can keep them going for a while like this)

I read something similiar except they said to pull the whole plant up roots n' all and hanging that? Not sure how practical that would be though. Supposedly its all about heat rather than light at this stage.

Yes  ;)

Dig it up and hang it up, root end highest. The tomatoes continue to ripen taking the sap from the stalk and leaves - any small ones won't get bigger though.
