You're farming!
Might be a tad early for onion sets but shallots should be OK.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

I've only just started sowing flower seeds let alone been planting stuff out!

It won't be long now... warmer, longer days are coming and there won't be enough time in the evening after work to get everything done!

I put some broad beans in today, finally was able to get to the plot and dig!  Am trying half as seed in the ground and half as pot sown seed, we apparantly have a mouse problem on the site so seeds often get eaten, am just trying to see which works best for me.

Started to dig over the patch for the onions, am glad you said it was too early for the sets noshed coz it'll be another week or so before I finish digging over the allium bed much less start to plant it out!

Only planting to date is a row of shallots went in yesterday.   :D I am holding off for a couple of weeks on onions.

I have some peas germinating in a gutter and a tray of leeks sown at week end all in conservatory wityh my chitting new spuds. (Seems to hold just above freezing without any heat-presumably some comes out from house)

Cheers HH
Keep digging

All I got in is garlic, however the mini greenhouse is starting to fill up with my Autumn Giant leeks, spring onions, some cauli's and some little gems.  the ground is still cold at the mo here, quite a bit of rain and frosts so not warmed, wont be until mid march before owt goes in, putting cloche over the lettuce bed at weekend if this damn wind stops.

You're not far from me randy, so probably similar conditions. I'm trying a couple of cloches (£4.99 each from Wilko) to try and warm the ground up a bit before planting out.
