City Road Allotments in Dundee are holding their annual Open Day on Sunday 26th July from 11am to 3pm.

Home-grown fruit, vegetables, jams, chutneys and plants for sale. 
All fruit and veg will be freshly picked on the morning of the sale.
Table top sale to grab lots of bargains!
Refreshments available too - tea or coffee and some home baking - delicious!

I would love to come but I am a bit far away!  I hope some of our local sites do this again this year.  I love having a nose around other people's plots!

I tried to get our site to agree to it but all they said was "well I just give my stuff away to anyone who wants it!"    missing the point of raising money for the association there a bit!

more than one person has asked the point of open days given the length of waiting lists, but I think it's good to let people see what their council tax is supporting...

Ours it at Mickleham Way Allotment - Croydon Sunday 19th July. 

We are giving away a free pack of seeds or strawberry plant to the first 50 visitors.  I have managed to persuade 7 local businesses to donate prizes for our raffle and I have also had a very generous donation of £100 worth of plants to sell all for the association. 

I love seeing other sites too!
