Yep; tomatoes went in two weeks ago, some chillis last week and more will follow tomorrow. The tomatoes were up in less than a week in the heated propagator.

No, far too soon. they'd be up in no time in the heated propagator and then just hang about getting too leggy in the greenhouse until time to plant them out. Another month before sowing time for me

Onions only so far, and they're just coming through nicely.

Shallot sets went in on the shortest day.

Toms soon, when Premier do their stuff...! And Black Krim from a generous chap here...!

Red and white onions so far. Will start leeks this week, same with shallot seeds. Garlic went in during the fall. Too early to start anything else.

Tray each of leeks and onions from seed indoors on a little heat. Coming through now.
Shallots and broadbeans in pots in PT, Garlic and onion sets went in about Oct.

When the leeks and onions move off the heat, i'll start aubergines and a few toms.

All the nice weather in January had us tidying up, digging over, manuring and covering, now to sit and wait.

.......tapping fingers........
Liv.

Strawberry runners propagated in big tubs and pots, Garlic in Sept in pots in the GH as my plot is not ready yet.. still go to get the digging done. Winter onions in big tubs as well..   Leeks and Black Sea Man toms in today.. Just trying to see if I can get them to grow well. I have tried toms a while ago but failed - too late to sow I think so done them early this time!!

3 early tomatoe's,  2 chilli  and  1 mini cucumber for growing on in greenhouse.  A few cabbage and cauli in cold frame.  Shallot seed in the next few days, a pinch in each module for planting out later.
There is no better show of antisipation than a man sowing seeds in a field.
