Tomatoes are fairly forgiving at germination...put them in some compost in a container of your choice, doesn't have to be very deep, cover with propagator lid or plastic bag and keep room temp, or a bit warmer, in your propagator.
You see....they are not very fussy at all.
When they germinate, remove covers and place somewhere light until they have a couple of leaves.
Then you pot on into individual pots, or large modules.
Easy peasy

we scatter 6-7 seeds in a 3 inch pot then prick out into individual 6 inch pots when about 2-3 inches hi , when the 2nd set of leaves show , when they reach 8-9 inches they go into their final pots , flower pots scrounged from our local ASDA, cut the bottoms out, place flower pots 3/4 into greenhouse soil , place plants into the flower pots and leave about 1 inch from top of pots ,

only feed the plants when the 2nd flower truss is showing

Do you mean "showing" or "set"?
