i picked up some jars today in T$%*^  :lol:
with beetroot in (not as good as mine but will be ok)
30p each - am about to decant their betroot into some large jars mum saved for me (too big for my summer relish) and then wash and sterilise the small jars for the relish

bargain, and i dont have to throw the contents away
just keep breathing................

Of course, there is always the Sainsburys basics curry sauce at 4p - the jar isn't even worth that! They also do mint sauce for 15p. At that price, I don't mind throwing away the contents or feeding them to a friend who will eat ANYTHING! :happy:

unfortuantely i dont have sainsburys near me - but will keep it in mind next time i am passing the nearest ones

the beetroot isnt that good actually, quite tough and has some dubious black bits on it....b tu fished them out and didnt tell oh about them and he is the main beetroot consumer  :lol:
