Its not raining here (for once) but the ground is so wet I've put my garlic in modules for the time being.

I've had my Garlic here ready to go in for a while and it would normally have been in by now but the ground is just saturated  >:( You get one or two dry days and then down comes the rain again  It poured here last night roads all flooded this morning, It's not what I would normally do but considering setting it away in pots unless it dry's out pretty soon.
Optimism probably a gardeners best tool.

We got 69 individual corms for £4 from Wilkos, so for better or worse, they're all in their rows, under cloches, as I'm gonna get there, and achieve a real crop next year...

hey Growster - the cloche for the rain I assume..

They're at home, Gavin, (not on the Patch) and to stop birds hoiking them out, and also the small Jack Russell from treading all over them, I've put a little protection over them, to get them away!

They get enough rain, as I've got the patented 'Growstercloche' system in place..

En 'ere, Laaadies annn' gennlemen, is, the, - wait ferrit - the 'Growstercloche'...
Still works after several years, and made from olde wire, bits of a garden chair back, and glass fro oold double glazing units in 'The Turrets'.

We now have 18 of these and I plan to make several more this winter, they just sit there...

More of the same down here, it's pouring again..  Luckily I got my garlic in last Saturday and the Saturday before and the onions a couple of weeks earlier.  The shoots are coming up already on the onions, just worried the local birds might take a fancy to them.  They're showing much earlier than I thought they would but they shouldn't grow very big as I followed instructions on packet and only left 3" spaces between sets.
