Dolmar 104 Chainsaw
« on: October 30, 2012, 15:46 »
Has anyone had one of these?

I have just been given one, not running but in generally good condition.

I have replaced the fuel pipes as the original perished, just about to give it a new spark plug, cleaned the carb etc.

Has anyone got an idea where I might find a manual for this (pre PDF), I have some close or updated models but they are so different to what I have.

Things I am looking for is starting procedures etc.

Cheers

That's an interesting old piece of kit. :) There certainly seem to be German based websites where you can still get parts. You could probably get more info on one of the specific chainsaw forums.

Pull up on choke ..squeeze throttle lever and while holding it push down on the lock button by the side of the choke and release trigger..this should hold throtle open...pull starter several times to drag fuel from tank,if it fires, knock the choke off.
Edit :sorry thats for the 105,the 104  looks like the poulan.
