Just wondering if this is a coincidence ..my five year old Hybrid sometimes gets really confused and it seems to be around the time in put some cider vinegar in thier water ,infact she was so odd on Sat that I changed the water back to just tap water and the next day she was just fine again . Could this be the cause or do you think she is just turning into an old lady ?

Are you buying it from a food supplier and not a supermarket?
If she seems better without, then don't bother.

Seriously though, I wonder if the alcohol in the Apple Cider Vinegar has all been turned to acetic acid.  Try giving some a boil for a minute or so, which would drive off any alcohol, and see if it has the same affect on her

Cider could be extremely bad for hens !
You only have to see what it does to humans, confused is not the word !
