hi ya i am able to get hold of some well rotted stable manure, the horses are beded on shavings, its dark brown like peat, what is best staw or shaving manure

Take whatever you can, it's all good. Shavings do take longer to rot down I've found.

Grab it all - great stuff for your garden. I use it and it works really well - especially if its nice and old..

I had quite a lot of chicken poop with shavings in it as I used equine bedding in the hen housing but I used to compost it all separately from the kitchen compost, and the garden compost, as it takes so much longer. I used to tip it into a big builders rubble sack and then once it was full I'd plant my onions, garlic, or courgettes in it.  My hens are in heaven now but I still have the bags full of poop which I grew onions in this year. It should now be quite depleted so it can be tipped out onto the veg beds now, but it's been hugely productive stuff.
