One of my buff orps had a good moult in July typically not laying eggs. This week she is losing lots feathers again but still laying at the moment. She was a big fluffy bundle again is she just losing the excess she doesn't want or can they moult twice in a short space of time

My Buffs have been a nightmare this year they have been broody then they moult then they went broody again at the moment the garden looks as if a bomb has gone off in a feather pillow factory 

I have a few other breads that are laying and have done all summer, I do love the Buffs but I wish they would lay a bit more

My buff orp is just the same. She seems to be having a few partial moults, this time she has a bald bottom.

My hen had a malt about 6 wks ago and she having another partial malt ,never had it happen before, but if it's normal thats ok.
