But don't they say that if you use the wrong make of lightbulb or change the windscreen wiper?  How would they know what fuel you put in anyway.  If they did find out you could always say you ran out of petrol in a village where there was no petrol station and only a supermarket... :?:

The smell would be a bit of a give a way plus its got all types of on board comps and engine management systems.

I not going to take a chance, not just yet anyway.

Don't worry, I knew what you meant  (not that that stand for much):D

I kept telling the delivery guy to put so many litres of petrol in the ferry every week (for the past two years) and every week he kept telling me it was diesel.

No just a G4 Piccasso diesel.
Very good on mpg. 55 on a run 40+ combined, 7 seats, but I will use  like a van,so I do not have run 2 vehicles.

I have not owned a Jag for a few years now.

Silver and I shall tell you why I choose the most common colour.

I started looking for a car in the little bit of summer we had. I put my hand on one of the cars to steady my hand and found that the body work was very hot indeed.
It was a black one I went along trying by touch each colour and low and behold the siver ones were by far and away the coolest.
When I opened the doors the heat from the interiors of all the dark ones were almost unbearable and again the siver ones were almost cool.
So prefering a car that will remain at least bearable when you get in it in a heatwave (and we will get one next year) a siver one it had to be.

Working on the prevailing theory that it can not be worse than last summer then yes we should be in for a good one.
Working on the assumption that its always wrong to try to even guess what the weather is going to do in this country then its going to be worse than last summer. 8)

Take your pick Rosemary and choose your wardrobe with care.
Im opting for shorts, long ones.

:( I've just had a thought (don't laugh, it doesn't happen very often) --- you're talking about the weather in the UK. It will probably be a rainy summer in Ireland :(

When I was living in the north of Ireland I visited England by ferry for the first time. It was a blazing hot day when I left so I was wearing a tee shirt and shorts with sandals, not even carrying a jacket.
You can imagine my horror when I arrived in England to find it pouring down with rain and freezing cold, lol. I know more about weather these days. . .
