Well.....I'm currently a Margot Leadbetter Marigold glove girl (I have to wear both or how do you get them off again)
? BUT with my poo tongs it woud be a quick 'pick'n'go' as it were.
It appeals to my lazy nature and easing the hensitters burden when the time comes.
I'd love to be able to clean only once a week and have her perch and poo into the tray below but when I tried that system (eglu roosting bars) she simply pooed onto the bars and the poo didn't dry and fall off. She likes her nest at night.

I am loving the tongs idea, I use either a glove and hand pick or I use a cat scoop which works well

nothing beats the joy of scooping a large chicken dodo into my compost. shame it's tempered by having to prise a trodden on deposit from the woodchip.
dust-extracted sawdust? i use hemcore, and lots of it since i got some ducks.

plastic washing up glove for the poo in the coop, and when i visit the sea-side, always buy a couple of plastic spades, (minus the bucket, and about 50p each), nice and flat to get the poo all in one go....
