a liquid feed ?? how would you make it ?  saw on GW that a grower used this on his tomatoes  very curious  :)
some people are like slinkys......they're really good for nothing, but they still bring a smile to your face as you push them down the stairs!!

i use wood ash primarily on my onion ground  it up the rows prior to planting [not liquid]
but it does seem to improve the onion crop never used wood ash this year to wet

never tried it on my tomato crop but there's always a first time would i be rite in saying wood ash has a potash value

Sprinkle it and water it in as a potash substitute.. it dissolves with the water like a fertilizer.. some info here... http://www.allotment-garden.org/grow-your-own/fertiliser/npk-in-fertiliser

If you don't have an open fire or woodburner, you could have a very large bonfire. :D

we are not aloud bonfires until after 6pm on our plots and I am never there at that time so  I meant to buy an  incinerator from aldi so I can have a sneaky one ?? but missed them all so will now have to get one from wickes then let the bonfires begin !!
