Bear in mind that oca flop quite widely, so don't plant the brassicas too close if you haven't yet planted out.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

I'm having a rethink - haven't limed the soil yet, so may put the celeriac there instead as I forgot I had those!!! ::)

Those Oca are like the most pernicious weeds you'll ever encounter. We decided we didn't care for them and I thought I'd dug them all up. No chance, they're popping up all over the shop from the tiniest of tubers

They are wonderfully robust!   I've decided that even if I don't like them, I'm going to eat them anyway!  ;)

For anyone who feels they've missed out, I think there'll be plenty of tubers doing the rounds next year.  :)

They were growing Oca in a huge new polytunnel type building at the Nat.Trusty garden at Knightshayes I noticed the other day.

They have a walled garden to die for! ::)

My Oca are about 4-5 inches high at the mo.
Do you guys feed them anything in particular??

Mine went out on the plot today and got a handful of chicken manure pellets, same as everything else that went out.  Last year, they got the same treatment with top up feeds every few weeks and they did really well  :)

Mine got some curious glances on being planted out yesterday.  I had them last year, but at the top end of the plot.  This year they are down the bottom near the main path and a lot more visible.

Already have a list of fellow plot holders begging tubers at harvest time so they can try them.  Oca takeover next year  ;)

They're worse than Jerusalem fartichokes for taking over your plot

At least they're not as tall!   I stick mine in between the toms and they seem quite happy.  :)

Just as a note, it took me ages to get mine in and some of them were at least 12" in the pots so I planted them about half way up & they're fine.  I'f I'd known how tough they were, I wouldn't have fretted so much about them!  ::) :D
