I have a very confused Raspberry shoot. It new growth this year and I would have expected it to fruit next summer, but its started fruiting

It's not confused - it's an Autumn fruiting variety

I will have to remember to tell it next time I am on the plot that Iam happy its now an autumn fruiting variety
As Dr who says I will have to accect its life choices

Sometimes the new growth on summer fruiting rasps will produce a few berries which are often good sized.
These bonus berries belong to the head gardener and never make it back to the house.

We have an apple tree in full flower now,never had any fruit this year usually loaded with fruit .plus there is an magnolia in full flower.

I think you are right, the weather has been so odd this year the poor plants dont know what is going on
