Night storage heater bricks.
« on: September 16, 2012, 16:26 »

Bit of a long shot and hopefully someone in Wiltshire (or quite close by) will have some night storage heater bricks laying around getting in the way.   Reddish brown 9" X 6 1/2" X 3 1/4" with two parallel grooves (where the electrical element ran) along the long axis.

I need half a dozen to finish a bread/pizza/smoker construction.  ::)

Cheers,    Tony.

What a pity I am just dismantling mine and have quite a few here.  I'm in Essex junction 26 of the M25 so if you have anyone travelling up this way at any time as I don't plan on doing anything with them.

I've managed to cobble the roof together from the two different types of bricks, but thanks for the thought.  There may be someone doing the same project closer to you,  you could "Freecycle" them.   Cheers and thanks again,   Tony.

You've given me food for thought and wonder if you could tell me how to do one myself - and/or a photo if you could.  The idea is now very appealing, mmm pizzas, garlic bread, smoked meats...
