Free Debris Netting - Bedworth
« on: September 16, 2012, 09:12 »
For those of you in the Bedworth area you might know that The Water Tower has been covered in this stuff for months now. The external part of the project is coming to an end and the netting is coming down.
They are skipping the stuff and a lot of plotholders on my site have been asking politely if they can have some. The Workmen are only too happy to.
I'm off down there tomorrow!

That sounds like a great chance for those in or near the area. :D

It's nice to hear there isn't a 'jobsworth' ensuring trhat the netting remains in the skip.

Cheers,    Tony.

I'm glad to be of some assistance. Was it of the quality you thought?

Sorry, only just spotted this..

It was really dusty - orange coloured but I got it home and rinsed in some buckets and bits started to come up white.  After rinsing I cut up into lengths and shoved it through the washing machine and it came up fairly clean so I was surprised. (i had genuinely thought it was orange net)

When I was on the site collecting it, the guys were saying it was quite brittle, but it was reasonably difficult to tear and later cut so should last a good few years on the plot so I'm more than pleased with it.  I have yet to stick it up anywhere, but it's there ready!

Thanks again!
